On a daily basis, parents are busy commuting to work, dropping off kids at school or other activities, running daily errands or managing other affairs. If you are a parent searching for more time in your busy day, a new way to save money or a better way to smooth your morning commute, Pima Commuter School Pool may be your solution.
This free online ridesharing service, provided by Pima Association of Governments, matches up parents of children who attend the same school and live in the same area.
The school pool service is open to parents of children in grades K-12. Ridesharing not only helps parents share driving responsibilities but it reduces the number of vehicles on the road and harmful air pollution. Your participation benefits you, your family and the entire region.
During the launch of Pima Commuter School Pool, the following school is participating in the pilot program:
- Quail Run Elementary School
- Tanque Verde Elementary School
- Agua Caliente Elementary School
If you are interested in signing up for Pima Commuter School Pool, please contact your child's school if you have not already done so and ask for the Pima Commuter School Pool program administrator for more information.
